Located in 400 acres of beautiful countryside just north of London, England, St Edmund’s offers a safe and stimulating environment for students aged 3-18, with boarding available from age 11. As England’s oldest Catholic school, prayer and reflection underpin all that we do, but our values are universal, and we welcome families of all faiths and none. We are a profoundly modern and forward-thinking school. We offer a British education with our students achieving GCSEs and A Levels, and we are very proud of our academic standing, but we do not focus solely on grades. At St Edmund’s, the spiritual, academic, pastoral, and co-curricular are of equal value, and these four elements come together to offer a formation which we believe is second to none. Our commitment to educating the whole person ensures that our students leave us as well-rounded individuals, prepared for the next stage in their life. Ultimately, we believe the true measure of our success is the qualities of the young men and women we send out into the world: excellent but never arrogant; ambitious but never selfish, robust but never uncaring; and faith-filled but never intolerant.
